È arrivata la decisione della UEFA per i cori razzisti durante la partita Lazio-Nizza valida per la seconda giornata di Europa League. Tramite un comunicato ufficiale il massimo organo calcistico europeo ha stabilito la chiusura della Curva Nord, nel settore 48-49, con pena sospesa per un anno, oltre ad una multa di 45.000€. La chiusura era stata già decisa, con sospensione di due anni, dopo la sfida contro il Celtic in Champions League del novembre 2023 e ora resa esecutiva. Il settore 48-49 sarà quindi chiuso in vista della sfida contro il Porto, in programma il prossimo 7 novembre, e verrà chiuso di nuovo qualora dovessero essere registrati nuovamente comportamenti simili. Inoltre i biancocelesti sono stati multati per il lancio di oggetti e accensione di fuochi d’artificio, oltre che per il blocco dei passaggi pubblici.

Charges against S.S. Lazio:
Blocking of public passageways, Art. 38 of UEFA Safety & Security Regulations (SSR)
Lighting of fireworks, Art. 16(2)(c) of UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
Throwing of objects, Art. 16(2)(b) DR
Racist and/or discriminatory behaviour (team), Art. 14(2) DR
Decision:
The AB has decided:
To fine S.S. Lazio €45,000 and to order the partial closure of S.S. Lazio’s stadium (i.e. sectors 48 and 49 of the Curva Nord) for one (1) additional UEFA competition match in which S.S. Lazio plays as host club, for the racist conduct of its supporters. Said partial stadium closure is suspended during a probationary period of one (1) year, starting from the date of the present decision.
To fine S.S. Lazio €4,500 for lighting of fireworks.
To fine S.S. Lazio €9,000 for throwing of objects.
To fine S.S. Lazio €8,000 for blocking of public passageways.
To order the enforcement of the suspended disciplinary measure imposed by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body in its decision on 13 December 2023 for the racist and/or discriminatory behaviour of its supporters i.e. to order the partial closure of S.S. Lazio’s stadium (i.e. sectors 48 and 49 of the Curva Nord), during the next one (1) UEFA competition match in which S.S. Lazio plays as host club, in accordance with Article 26(3) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations».
